No party this weekend

Hi,

It looks like we have a conflict with the two instructors’ s schedule so there will be no party.    Next week is Memorial Day long weekend so not good for party either.

I’d like to poll to see how many people would like to have an end of year party. Basically do some fun math games, have some food and drink so let kids have a good unwinding after a stressful school and math year. And do you prefer right after the end of this school year? We are looking forward to hearing your opinion.

Party on 5/19

This Sunday we don’t have math club session. We will have a end of year party on 5/19 and hope everyone can come and have some fun. We can do some collegebowl game if you are interested. Details will be posted later.

Summary Session

Hey everyone,

tomorrow, we will go over the 6th grade Blaine individual test as a summary session. If you have your own Blaine test copy, great. Bring that. If not, I will print out some copies for you.

The week after tomorrow will be our last meeting, and we will have a party! There will be a Google Doc for everyone to sign up to bring food/drinks. (If you bring something, make sure it is enough for everyone.)

Thanks!

Good Job at Blaine Everyone! (I mean, everyone that went, that is.)

Since Blaine was today, there won’t be a meeting tomorrow. Enjoy the week off!

Hey Mathletes

We will have a meeting at the Fire Station tomorrow.

If any of you looked over Warm-up 11 or attempted any of the questions, that would have been excellent. If you still have a copy of Warm-up 11, please bring that: we will be going over the questions.

Blaine Math Competition is coming up soon! Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be focusing on how to tackle Blaine problems. For example, calculators are allowed, which is awesome. Don’t forget to bring one this week to practice, you will be working with them.
